explaining further the oath was sworn to the fisherman whose daughter satyavathi bheeshma's (then devavrata) father wanted to marry.but couldnt do so coz of the fisherman who wanted him to swear certain oaths so devavrata did it and got the name bheeshma
Pranav cracks. The Shaktiman Guy is Mukesh Khanna. And the fisherman wanted Devavrata to promise that he or his heirs would never claim the kingdom of his dad. He promised and hence got the name Bheeshma meaning the Great One
