X Enterprises was founded by merchant ancestors of the X family in the 17th century as a merchant house, although the company changed when the heir of Judge Solomon X, Alan, utilized his father's wealth and erected the X Shipping company and also the X Chemical company into the city. Thus it was officially erected in the 19th century. X Enterprises have now branched out into X Technologies, X Shipping, X Steel, X Industries, X Medical, X Electronics, X Entertainment, X Aerospace and X Biotech. X Enterprises provide X with income and help out X’s Y actions. X Enterprises now employs around 170000 people in 170 countries. X Enterprises also hold a foundation, which is like the Nobel prize foundation, awarding people meritorious in research. The two branches of the foundation are named after X’s parents.
