In 1996, there was a massacre at Dunblane Primary School at the Scottish town of Dunblane. The perpetrator, an unemployed shopkeeper named Thomas Hamilton after killing sixteen school children and a teacher committed suicide by shooting himself dead. The list of the victims

A World famous sportsperson , attending the Dunblane Nursery School then, survived this attack. In his autobiography he recounts that, he had trouble coming out of the shock of the massacre and he took cover under the benches. He says that his mother actually gave the murderer lifts in her car.
